June Chuvalas prays with her daughter, Sharon Chuvalas, and other family members over the remains of June's brother, Cpl. Charles A. White Jr., at a small gathering at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home on July 26, 2016, in New Lexington. Charles served in the Korean War where he was declared MIA in Dec. 1950 and later died in a North Korean PoW camp in 1951. His remains, then buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii, were postively identified in May and shipped back to his family to be buried in New Lexington.
